​As a Chartered British Architect, Prince Firooz Alexander Sefre Zand has developed his successful career over the last 35 years+  working on projects around the globe. He is also the founder of the concept "Democratic Architecture for the World" which can be described as the right of human beings to shelter being the same as their right to air or water. This concept can only be achieved through innovative AI from the grassroots up rather than being dictated from the top down. 

His focus going forward lies the field of Urban Research and he is presenting as inventor a new concept in the extension of democratic architecture called The Democratic City. This concept is about the democratisation of urban space and will be presenting his paper at the prestigious event BRICS Urban Future Forum taking place in Moscow 17th - 18th September 2025.

Prince Firooz is the direct descendant of the founder of the Zand dynasty in Iran, Karim Khan Zand, and his unique understanding of ancient Persian and Zoroastrian religious architecture significantly influences his work. He has dedicated decades of research and work all around the world for the creation of sacred spaces and the art of architecture, irrespective of religious beliefs, and which pay homage to ancient traditional design and motifs.
