Sefre Architects + Research Group's “Sacred Spaces” may be large or small; they can be dedicated to one particular religion but equally could be shared by a number of faiths in a spirit of harmony and mutual respect.
They can even have no connection to any faith at all and simply be a quiet and serene place where spiritual introspection is open to anyone of any or no religious affiliation. They are also used for meetings, lectures and artistic events. The buildings
themselves can take a variety of forms but they are deliberately not in the traditional style of one or other religion and the design reflects the interaction of the various faiths involved; presents a new environment suitable for multi-faith use or otherwise re-defines the way in which particular faith is seen by the outside world.
